Terms and Conditions

These terms and conditions apply to all purchases of products from www.mumbubhub.co.uk ("our site"). Please read them carefully before ordering. We may update these terms from time to time, so please check them before you make a new purchase.

1. Placing an order

You can submit an order by completing the details required on the order summary page and clicking the order button. All prices are shown in £ sterling and include VAT where applicable, provided delivery is to a UK address. Orders outside the UK may be subject to an additional charge. Goods supplied are for personal use only and not for resale.

The display of any product on our site is not an offer by us to sell it to you, it is an invitation for you to make an offer to buy. Your order is your offer to purchase. We are under no obligation to accept your order, but would normally do so where the product is available, the order reflects current pricing, and your payment is approved. We are not liable to sell you any product listed at an incorrect price due to a technical or pricing error.

2. Acceptance of your order

We will confirm acceptance of your order by email shortly after we receive it. A binding contract between us is formed at that point, on these terms. If we cannot accept your order, or if the price has changed between order and acceptance, or a supplementary delivery charge applies, we will email you and you will need to resubmit your order. Payment is accepted by credit card, debit card, and any other payment method shown at checkout.

3. Delivery

UK Mainland and Northern Ireland

• Free standard delivery on all orders over £40
• Standard delivery: £3.50, delivered within 2 to 4 working days from dispatch
• Express delivery (UK Mainland only): from £4.50, delivered within 1 to 2 working days from dispatch

All deliveries are made to the address you specify at checkout. We may, at our discretion and expense, deliver parts of your order separately. Ownership of the products passes to you once we have received payment in full. If we are unable to deliver to the address you have provided for reasons other than our own fault, and the goods are returned to us after failed delivery attempts, we will notify you and store the products at your risk. Re-delivery will require authorisation to charge your card for the additional cost.

4. Payment and security

We take reasonable care to ensure your order and payment details are handled securely via Shopify Payments. As we do not control the operation of that payment infrastructure, we will not, unless we are negligent, be liable for any loss you suffer if a third party obtains unauthorised access to information you provide during checkout. If a product becomes unavailable after we have accepted your order, we will let you know, will not charge you for it, and will refund any amount already paid.

5. Your right to cancel

Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, you have the right to cancel your order for any reason within 14 days of receiving your goods, without needing to give a reason. To cancel, contact us at hello@mumbubhub.co.uk with your order number.

If you cancel, you must return the goods to us within 14 days of telling us, in the same condition you received them. You are responsible for the cost of return postage unless the item is faulty or not as described. We will refund you within 14 days of receiving the returned goods, using the same payment method you used to pay.

Exceptions: for hygiene reasons, this cancellation right does not apply to hygiene or intimate-use products, including maternity pads and perineal care items, once the packaging has been opened or the seal broken. Unopened hygiene items in their original packaging can still be returned within the 14-day period.

6. Faulty or misdescribed goods

Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. If a product you receive is faulty, not as described, or not fit for purpose, contact us at hello@mumbubhub.co.uk with your order number and details of the issue, and we will arrange a repair, replacement, or refund as appropriate. This is in addition to, and separate from, the 14-day cancellation right above, and the hygiene exclusion in section 5 does not apply to genuinely faulty goods.

7. Product use and health disclaimer

Our products are intended to support comfort and wellbeing during pregnancy and postpartum, but they are not medicines and are not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always read the product label and ingredients list before use. We recommend patch-testing any new topical product on a small area of skin before full use. If you are pregnant, breastfeeding, have a pre-existing condition, or are unsure whether a product is suitable for you, please consult your GP, midwife, or health visitor before use. If you experience an adverse reaction, stop use immediately and seek medical advice.

8. Intellectual property

All content on our site, including text, images, logos, and product descriptions, is owned by or licensed to Mum Bub Hub CIC and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, copy, or use our content for commercial purposes without our written permission.

9. Our liability

We are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breach of these terms or our negligence, but we are not liable for any loss or damage that is not foreseeable. We do not exclude or limit our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be excluded or limited under English law. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights.

10. Complaints

If you have a complaint, please contact us first at hello@mumbubhub.co.uk so we can try to resolve it directly. If we are unable to resolve a dispute, you may be able to use the EU's Online Dispute Resolution platform or an alternative dispute resolution provider, though as a small UK business we always encourage contacting us directly first.

11. How we use your data

Any personal data you provide when ordering is handled in line with our Privacy Policy, available on our site.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

13. Changes to these terms

We may revise these terms from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top of this page shows when they were last changed. The terms that applied when you placed your order will govern that order.
