Beginning about 6 weeks before your due date, massage the perineal every day using the thumbs to apply the oil to the area in circular movements.
It’s recommended to massage for at least 5 minutes to allow the oils to properly penetrate the skin.
With each massage, the tissues and muscles will feel more relaxed and softer so that the length of the massage can be increased.
