The Perineal Balm does contain tamanu oil which is a tree nut and sunflower seed oil so we would not recommend using it if you have nut/seed allergies.
Q. I just realized this has St.John’s Wort as an ingredient. Is this safe to use while on antidepressants, or could it interact like oral St. John’s Wort? Is it safe to use during pregnancy?
When applied topically and diluted in a balm, St. John's Wort is perfectly safe to use.

Yes. Our Perineal Balm can to help keep the area nourished and comfortable. To use, apply perineal balm on a cotton pad and gently dab the area.
Q. How long do I need to wait after birth to use the Pe
Before I found this cream, I was in a great deal of discomfort. This has provided some relief from my haemorrhoids and has diminished my discomfort at night. I would recommend it to any pregnant woman out there who is looking for something natural with a nice amount of relief.
I’m now on my fifth, but I can honestly say having tried out of different products from different different brands, this has been amazing at bringing relief for my episiotomy
