Your perineum goes through a lot during pregnancy and birth, especially with a vaginal delivery, and if you’ve been unfortunate enough to experience haemorrhoids, things can get really itchy and uncomfortable down there.

We developed our Perineal Balm to help support your recovery, it’s an ideal remedy for helping to ease vaginal swelling and soreness, moisturise dry healing skin and soothe itchy stitches or painful haemorrhoids during pregnancy and after birth.

We include skin-friendly oils and healing herbs such as St. John’s wort, calendula and arnica, making it gentle and naturally soothing.

Tamanu moisturises and helps to promote healing of skin

Calendula helps to support the skin’s natural healing process

Tea Tree slightly cooling and soothes irritation

Yes. Our Perineal Balm can be used to help soothe soreness or itchiness. To use, apply perineal balm on a cotton pad and gently dab it over your stitches.
Yes you can use our Perineal Balm while pregnant to soothe any discomfort especially if you’re struggling with hemorrhoids (piles).
When applied topically and diluted in a balm, St. John's Wort is perfectly safe to use.
The Perineal Balm does contain tamanu oil which is a tree nut and sunflower seed oil so we would not recommend using it if you have nut/seed allergies.
